It’s finally the start of Tennessee’s 2018 football season.
The Vols kick off their season on Saturday when they take on No. 17 West Virginia in Charlotte. The Jeremy Pruitt era will officially begin once Tennessee takes the field today, and the Mountaineers will be beginning their eighth season under Dana Holgorsen.
Tennessee will be facing off against Heisman hopeful quarterback Will Grier and his cast of potent wide receivers on offense. The Vols will employ a new 3-4 defensive scheme and more of a pro-style focus on offense this year, and this game will be Vol fans’ first look at both.
