Tennessee at South Carolina, Oct. 27th
The Vols’ merciless October run ends with a trip to Columbia to take on South Carolina. Most analysts believe the Gamecocks will be fighting for the No. 2 spot in the SEC East this season, and South Carolina also has the added advantage of coming off a bye week for this contest. The Vols will have just faced Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama in three of the past four weeks. Tennessee does have more overall talent than South Carolina, but there’s no telling what type of injuries both sides will have sustained by this point. Nor is it obvious what kind of mental state the Vols will be in by the time they travel to Columbia.
Nathanael predicts the Vols will lose by double-digits, but Ben and Charley are predicting a closer game. But the RTI team as a whole believes Tennessee loses this game.
