Last year, Tennessee’s contest against Georgia was about as lopsided of a game as you could imagine. The Bulldogs handed the Vols their worst loss in Neyland Stadium history when they beat them 41-0. Georgia lost several players to the NFL after last season, but they replace those departures with some very talented players. There’s a reason Georgia is still the odds-on favorite to win the SEC East this year. The match-up of former Saban disciples in UGA head coach Kirby Smart and UT’s Jeremy Pruitt will be a storyline for this game. And the comments made by former Georgia players Aaron Murray and David Pollack earlier this year will likely be brought up again.

While we don’t expect the Vols to defeat Georgia down in Athens, the RTI team does think this year’s match-up will be a bit closer than last year’s.

Nathanael’s pick: Georgia 33-17
Ben’s pick:
Georgia 31-14
Charley’s pick: Georgia 37-14
