Tight End
TE1: Dominick Wood-Anderson, Austin Pope
TE2: Eli Wolf, Jacob Warren
There’s little doubt in my mind that Dominick Wood-Anderson is the clear-cut top option at tight end for the Vols after fall camp. He’s the complete package, and he should be a huge asset to Tennessee this season.
Behind him, though, is more of a mix.
Eli Wolf will likely be the Vols’ second tight end in most situations, but don’t be surprised if you see Austin Pope — who will probably primarily play at H-back — line up at tight end as well. He has good all-around tools and can be used in a multitude of ways.
True freshman Jacob Warren could really use a redshirt year to get bigger, but UT may not have that luxury right now. Warren has arguably the best hands of anyone in the tight end group, and he provides a huge target at 6-foot-6. Unless Tennessee just goes with a three tight end group this year, Warren will probably see the field more than just four games.
