7. Missouri
All of Tennessee’s games in November will be pretty important because the Vols will likely be making a push for postseason eligibility after running through a gauntlet in the end of September and all through November. The Vols’ match-up with Missouri should be one of the tougher games in November and will test UT’s defense in a big way.
The Tigers should have a strong offense this season, but they’re not expected to be great otherwise. They’ll be fighting for postseason eligibility or could already be eliminated themselves when these two teams face off in the second-to-last weekend of the season. This game could very well be a “win or be eliminated” game for either the Tigers or Vols.
Missouri won’t be one of the best teams Tennessee faces this season. But they could be one of the more important games considering where they fall on the schedule. Having them at home should help the Vols.
