Coming into the fall, Dominick Wood-Anderson’s stock was already exceptionally high. Most fans and media alike expected the four-star JUCO transfer to come in and assert himself as the starting tight end for the Vols fairly quickly.

And thus far into fall camp, he hasn’t disappointed.

Wood-Anderson easily looks like the Vols’ best option at tight end, and he looks like he’ll be a huge asset to Tennessee’s offense this season as both a pass catcher and a blocker. He has great size, mobility, and toughness. He’s looked the best running through various position drills and has usually been the most consistent among the group as well.

Barring some sort of injury or major setback in the next couple weeks, Wood-Anderson is going to be Tennessee’s No. 1 option at tight end this year and should be one of the top targets in the passing game.
