Wide Receiver

Four-star Ramel Keyton is one of the Vols’ centerpieces in their 2019 class. But right now, Tennessee doesn’t have another wide receiver committed, and they need to add a couple more to replenish their stock of play-makers and to bolster depth at the position moving forward.

By the end of the 2019 season, Tennessee will no longer have Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, Brandon Johnson, and Tyler Byrd on their roster. This recruiting class needs to be the class that replaces those players heading into Pruitt’s third year as the Vols’ head coach.

Four-star in-state receiver Trey Knox is one of the biggest names on Tennessee’s board at receiver. Four-stars Khafre Brown and Jalen Curry are also worth keeping in mind, and JUCO receiver JaVonta Payton will be someone to look out for too. Another name emerging lately has been four-star Cameron Coleman.
