10. Eli Wolf, TE
Eli Wolf joined the Vols as a walk-on in the shadow of his older brother, Ethan. Now he’s the Vols’ leading returning receiver at tight end, but he only has three career catches to his name.
Thanks to the addition of JUCO tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson, Wolf likely won’t be relied upon to be the Vols’ No. 1 tight end. But he’ll still be expected to contribute way more this season than he has his entire Tennessee career up to this point. Wolf was awarded a scholarship prior to last season, and he saw the field in limited action as a redshirt sophomore. This year promises to be different, though. He’ll likely be Tennessee’s No. 2 tight end, and he has a lot to prove considering who his older brother was and his very minimal contributions thus far.
