5 Newcomers Most Likely to Make a Big Impact with the Vols

The Vols’ 2018 football roster is going to look quite a bit different than how the 2017 roster was constructed. Not only are the Vols welcoming in the rest of their 2018 signing class and three new scholarship grad transfers, but they’ll also have some players back from injury who missed all or most of the 2017 season.

Tennessee could have around seven or eight brand new starters on offense and defense combined compared to the starters on their 2017 team. That’s quite a big change from one year to the next, and that doesn’t include the complete overhaul of the coaching staff after Jeremy Pruitt was hired either.

Vol fans are hoping the new-look Vols produce much better results than the 2017 team did. And they hope several of the new faces on the roster can come in and make immediate impacts this season.

A lot of the Vols’ newcomers will come in and play a role with Tennessee this season, but there are a handful who should be able to come in and either start immediately or play a ton of snaps.

Here are the five newest Vols who are the most likely to have a major impact in 2018.
