One of the few units on Tennessee’s roster that isn’t hurting for quality depth is at wide receiver. The Vols could feature a starting three of Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, and Brandon Johnson with backups like Josh Palmer, Jordan Murphy, Tyler Byrd, Latrell Williams, and either Alontae Taylor or Bryce Thompson. But Cedric Tillman, another late find in the 2018 class by Tennessee’s coaching staff, presents a lot of potential and upside.

Tillman likely won’t be asked to make any significant contributions to the Vols in 2018, but his highlight film coming out of high school shows that he has some talent and potential. The big 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver could be thrown out into games against weaker opponents or late in garbage time so UT’s coaches can see him in game action, but this should definitely be a redshirt year for him.
