Jennings was awarded a medical redshirt after missing almost the entire season last year, but many Vol fans believe he won’t use that extra year of eligibility next season. If Jennings can return from the wrist injury and drama that surrounded his dismissal and subsequent reinstatement to the team, he should be able to prove to NFL teams this season that he’s worth drafting and being selected in the first three rounds of next year’s draft.

Jennings has yet to play a full season as the Vols’ No. 1 target in the passing game, but if his breakout campaign in 2016 is anything to go off of, he’ll absolutely shine for Tennessee this year. “Behavior issues” might cause concerns for some NFL teams, but if he has a productive year on the field and does decide to forgo his redshirt senior season, he’ll get drafted.
