3. J.J. Peterson, Linebacker
Tennessee’s highest-rated player in their 2018 signing class, J.J. Peterson should find the field plenty in the 2018 season. He may not end up starting as a true freshman, but he’ll be one of the most talented players at the linebacker position as soon as he steps foot on the field this fall. He should be an immediate contributor on special teams and should get snaps on defense too. Peterson is the perfect type of linebacker to play in Pruitt’s defensive system, and he should come in and compete for reps quickly.
