Tennessee continues to look for wide receivers to add in their 2019 recruiting class, and they extended an offer to an impressive wideout from Maryland on Tuesday.

Isaiah Hazel is a four-star wide receiver from Upper Marlboro, Maryland who already holds nearly two dozen offers. And Tennessee gave him an offer this week.

Hazel is rated as the No. 189 overall player and No. 32 wide receiver in the 2019 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s rated a little higher by the regular 247Sports rankings, coming in at No. 157 overall and No. 24 at his position. He holds offers from Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Maryland, and others.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound receiver has some very solid talent and a high ceiling for his future. His highlight film displays his excellent body control and awareness. He knows how to bring down jump balls and how to position his body to shield himself away from defenders and ensure he comes away with the ball and not them. He has some solid speed and won’t be chased down by most corners in college. He’s also a very physical player and seeks out contact rather than shying away from it, a trait that surely stood out to Tennessee’s coaching staff.

In 25 games in high school, Hazel has 44 catches for 681 yards and eight touchdowns according to MaxPreps.

Right now, Tennessee doesn’t have a commitment in their 2019 class from a wide receiver, but they’ve sent out offers to 49 different receivers in the cycle. Hazel is the latest to receive an offer, but the Vols are still pursuing other receivers like Lance Wilhoite, Jalen Curry, Ramel Keyton, and Trey Knox in the class.
