When Vol fans fill up Neyland Stadium on Saturday to watch the Orange & White Game, they’ll be interested to see how Tennessee’s roster has changed since they last saw them in late November. The last time the Vols were in Neyland Stadium for a game was when they were capping off a historically bad 4-8 season by getting beat down by Vanderbilt.
A lot has changed since then, though.
Tennessee has a new head coach, new coaching staff, and new attitude around the program. Jeremy Pruitt and his staff have spent the spring trying to reshape Tennessee’s roster into a better, more SEC-like product.
Pruitt and his staff have moved many players around to different positions, and they’ve been implementing new schemes on both sides of the ball. The Vols are transitioning to a 3-4 defensive scheme and more of a pro-style offensive scheme.
Because of all this transition, Tennessee’s players have had more competition this spring than they have in their entire Vol careers. And that made it hard to shrink down our list of the top 10 players to watch this Saturday, because there are so many Vol players who will be interesting to keep an eye on during the spring game.
But we trimmed it down, and we created our list of the 10 most intriguing players to watch during the Vols’ Orange & White Game on Saturday.
