Though he didn’t actually perform all that well in the combine drills, scouts still like what Rashaan Gaulden brings to the table thanks to his stellar play at Tennessee.
Gaulden’s drill results were consistently at the bottom in the defensive backs/safety group, but his on field results speak for themselves. Gaulden was one of the few bright spots on an otherwise forgettable Tennessee defense over the last two seasons.
He may not have helped his draft stock a ton during the combine, but Gaulden certainly didn’t hurt it either. Expect him to be drafted sometime on Day 3 of the draft.
