According to the NFL Combine scouts, Daniel has an impressive leg. Vol fans know that and saw him boom punts consistently while at Tennessee. They also like his size and how quick he can get off a punt to prevent it from being blocked.
But for all his strengths, scouts also think he has plenty of faults. They point out his low hang time and the fact that he had two punts returned for touchdowns on him while at Tennessee, citing a problem with outkicking his coverage at times.
All in all, Daniel performed very well at the combine and actually had a better 40 time and number of bench press reps than a number of offensive and defensive linemen. He may not get drafted, but a team will sign him as an undrafted free agent.
