6. Offensive Line
Tennessee’s offensive line was a mess in 2017, and Pruitt and his staff did a good job of addressing that position in the 2018 class by bringing in an instant impact type player in Jahmir Johnson and adding future depth with four-star Jerome Carvin and three-stars Ollie Lane and Tanner Antonutti. But the line still needs plenty of help moving forward.
Chance Hall is the only senior offensive lineman on the Vols’ roster for this season, but Drew Richmond and Marcus Tatum will be seniors in 2019, and it’s very likely that Trey Smith, who will be a junior then, declares early for the draft after 2019 too.
The Vols aren’t exactly desperate for offensive line help in the 2019 class, but they need to add a few bodies at the position. That’s true for just about every recruiting cycle, but it’s pivotal for this class as Pruitt and his staff try to reform the offensive line to fit their offensive scheme better.

Surprised not to see RB on this list. Other than Chandler, and to some extent Fils-Aime, there is nobody with any meaningful experience, and we didn’t really address that need in this year’s class.
