Jacob Warren, TE
I’ve been a huge fan of Jacob Warren ever since I saw him play for Farragut High School when he was a junior for them. I’ve long thought he was underrated in the 2018 class, and I think he will develop into a great tight end at Tennessee.
At 6-foot-6, 211 pounds, Warren has the ideal frame for a tight end. He needs to add several dozen pounds to hold up as a tight end in the SEC, but I think he has all the tools to be a phenomenal pass catching tight end.
Warren was only the No. 723 overall player and just the No. 22 player in the state of Tennessee. But college coaches saw his value, as he held offers from Auburn, Oregon, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Missouri, Ole Miss, Duke, Princeton, and others.
Tennessee hasn’t had a dynamic play-maker at tight end in a while. And I think Warren can develop into that as long as he adds the needed weight.
