Analysis: Easily the youngest and least experienced coach on Pruitt’s staff, Niedermeyer is arguably the biggest question mark on the new Tennessee staff. The Vols’ tight ends have routinely underperformed the last half decade, and Niedermeyer hasn’t exactly proven to be a stud coach. The potential is there, but he has a low floor too. He is viewed as an ace in recruiting, though.
