Tyson Campbell, CB
The most recent addition to Tennessee’s list of visitors, Tyson Campbell is an incredibly gift athlete who will be the highest-rated player to visit the Vols in the brief Pruitt era.
Campbell is a five-star and one of the best athletes in the country. He’s rated as the No. 2 corner in the 2018 class and the No. 12 overall player. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound corner from Fort Lauderdale, Florida has offers from just about every top school in the country, including Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Miami, Florida State, and others.
Campbell announced very late that he planned on visiting Tennessee this weekend, and he’s now the headliner in a packed and highly-rated group of visitors this weekend in Knoxville. He visited Georgia two weekends ago, visited Alabama last weekend, and will visit Miami after he visits Tennessee.
The Vols have been pursuing a ton of talented corners in the 2018 class. But Campbell would be a huge get if they could land him, and getting him to visit is huge.
