Tennessee may not be pursuing Jaevon Becton as hard as they once were, but he’s still interested in the Vols and has a scholarship offer from Tennessee’s new staff.

Becton, a three-star defensive end out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, picked up an offer from Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols on December 9th. He visited the Vols back on September 30th but hasn’t been back since. He was once committed to Georgia but decommitted on December 13th.

Becton has picked up an offer from Nebraska since decommitting and is expected to visit Virginia Tech in January. Tennessee is pursuing hybrid defensive linemen hard for the remainder of this 2018 class, and at 6-foot-4, 248 pounds, Becton fits that mold well.
