Jacob Copeland, WR

As soon as Jeremy Pruitt was announced as the Vols’ head football coach, he picked up a glowing endorsement from one of the top receivers in the 2018 class.

Jacob Copeland, a four-star receiver and the top receiver in the state of Florida, tweeted out mere hours after Pruitt was officially announced as Tennessee’s head coach that the Vols were now one of his top schools. Copeland has a strong relationship with Pruitt from his time at Alabama, and now the Vols are in a heated battle for Copeland with the Tide and Florida.

Copeland is the No. 54 overall player in the country and holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, UCLA, Auburn, and others. Tennessee has visited him already, and he visited Tennessee back on December 15th.

The 6-foot, 192 pound receiver is one of the Vols’ biggest remaining priorities in the 2018 class.
