Greg Bell, RB
If John Kelly elects to go pro this offseason, the Vols will need someone who can come in and play immediately at running back. They don’t necessarily need someone who can start right away because Ty Chandler and Carlin Fils-Aime should be able to do that well enough; but the Vols will need an experienced second or third option at the position.
Enter Greg Bell.
Bell is a three-star JUCO running back who is ranked as the No. 3 JUCO running back in the country. He plays for Arizona Western College and holds offers from Nebraska, Arizona State, Utah, and others.
Tennessee offered Bell on December 7th, and he visited the Vols this weekend. Bell was once committed to Louisville, but he decommitted from them back on September 30th.
It would appear as though the Vols are in a good spot to land Bell, but Nebraska will give them plenty of competition to pick up his signature.
