Jeremy Pruitt and his new staff offered Jordan Allen on December 13th and he came to visit the Vols over the weekend. Will that be enough to sway the talented junior college defensive end to sign with Tennessee?
Allen is a three-star JUCO defensive end who plays for City College of San Francisco. He’s the No. 2 weakside defensive in in the junior college ranks and has been considered a TCU lean for quite some time. The 6-foot-5, 230 pound end holds offers from Michigan State, Arizona State, Nebraska, and others.
Tennessee made an impact quickly with Allen, and he was one of the many players who visited this weekend. But it may be a case of too little too late for the Vols in this one.
