Tennessee’s search for a head coach has taken many unforeseen twists and turns. Friday saw another one of those changes, as John Currie was suspended as Tennessee’s athletics director and Phillip Fulmer was given the job.
Now that Fulmer is in charge of finding the Vols’ next head coach, how will that change things?
It was believed that a lot of the “big names” on Tennessee’s list of candidates were scratched off. But Phillip Fulmer may be able to attract some of those bigger names again, and that leaves the door open for some possibilities that had previously been closed.
