For essentially the ninth time in 11 games this season, the Vols’ secondary wasn’t really asked to do much. LSU attempted just 15 passes and completed 11 of them for 81 yards. They never had a pass of longer than 16 yards, and LSU rarely took shots down the field. Nigel Warrior had a great game, but largely the defensive backs had an average to above average night.
