3. Bobby Petrino, Louisville HC
Petrino is an offensive mastermind who could coach circles around the past couple coaches the Vols have had. He’d quickly jump start Tennessee’s offense, and he’d be one of Tennessee’s best chances to contend in the SEC East in the next couple years. But he comes with a significant amount of baggage and risk. His tenures at Arkansas and with the Atlanta Falcons both ended extremely poorly. And while his second run at Louisville has been mostly free of controversy, the Cardinals, even with Heisman winner Lamar Jackson at quarterback, have taken a step back in his fourth year as they sit at 6-4 and 3-4 in the ACC. The Vols need strong leadership and stability at the top, not a coach known for his off-the-field transgressions and his tendency to job hop.

Agree. Gruden, Mullen, Frost, Kelly in that order. ?
What has Gruden done? He has not coached in sometime and being a TV commentator does not enhance his qualifications. I think we need somebody that bleeds orange, T Martin is my choice, he is young, successful, a Tennessee alumni, a national championship quarterback. He knows how to win!
