“Grumor” season is here, and now a former Vol is stoking those fires via social media.
Albert Haynesworth, a former Tennessee defensive lineman and NFL defensive lineman, posted a screen shot of a note he had written on his phone because it was too long to tweet. In that note, Haynesworth detailed how long Butch Jones would be the head coach for Tennessee and stated that Jon Gruden is very high on Tennessee’s list of replacements.
I wouldn’t bet my bottom dollar on this but this is what I’m hearing! #VFLthruthick pic.twitter.com/UGjBzMrFEz

This isn’t the first time Haynesworth has riled up Tennessee fans via Twitter. Earlier this month, he tweeted out a vague message of hope to Vol fans about the future of the program that got everyone wondering what he was talking about.
As of now, Butch Jones is still the head coach of Tennessee. The Vols are set to take on Southern Miss at 7:30 PM Eastern this Saturday for homecoming. And as of the writing of this article, Jones is still slated to be the Vols’ head coach when they host the Golden Eagles this weekend.

Absolutely do not want Gruden UNLESS he absolutely wants, and I mean really wants, to the the HC at Tennessee.
