Speaking of ugly games, the 2008 match-up between Tennessee and Auburn was even worse than the previous entry. The Vols managed just 191 yards of offense while Auburn totaled just 226, and the Tigers found a way to pull out a 14-12 win in Auburn.

This game set the game of football back several decades. Jonathan Crompton was just 8-of-23 for 67 yards while Chris Todd and Kodi Burns combined to throw for 129 yards for the Tigers.

Tennessee trailed 14-6 heading into the fourth quarter, and Montario Hardesty scored the Vols’ lone touchdown within the first minute of the final quarter. But Tennessee couldn’t convert the two-point conversion, and they never found a way to score after that.
