142 yards vs. Georgia 2017
Surprisingly, Tennessee’s two worst offensive performances of the last decade have happened this season. Georgia’s defense stymied the Vols earlier this season, holding them to just 142 yards of offense while shutting them out as well.
If not for the Vols’ defensive touchdown against Alabama, Tennessee would’ve been shut out twice this season. As it was, Georgia’s 41-0 defeat of the Vols was the worst beating Tennessee had taken in Neyland Stadium history.
The Vols turned the ball over four times in this game, including on the very first play from scrimmage. Tennessee failed to make it into the red zone once in the entire game.
