The Vols’ worst performance on offense over the last decade happened this past weekend. In fact, it was the Vols’ worst offensive performance in at least the last 28 seasons.

Tennessee only got into the red zone once against the Tide in this game, and that’s because an Alabama fumbled punt gave the Vols the ball at the 20. Then Tennessee couldn’t even punch it in once they got to the goal line.

The only touchdown in this game came on a 97-yard interception return by linebacker Daniel Bituli. The offense had more punts (9) than first downs (7).
