Trevor Daniel had one bad punt, but the rest of his punts ended up flipping the field or putting Alabama in bad positions. Eight of Alabama’s 12 drives started inside their own 25, and Daniel finished with a 45.8 yard per punt average with three of those punts being downed inside the 20. Tennessee wasn’t able to return a punt, however, and Ty Chandler looked largely average on his kickoff returns. The Vols did generate a turnover on special teams, recovering a fumbled punt in the fourth quarter.
