Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Once again, the Vols’ receivers were nowhere to be found. Ethan Wolf made a nice grab down the middle and caught a 12-yard first down, but that’s about all the big plays the passing game produced. Marquez Callaway had three catches for just 14 yards, and Brandon Johnson caught one pass for six yards. The receivers couldn’t get open against a tough Alabama secondary, and they made their own mental mistakes multiple times.
