The Vols’ linebackers didn’t fill up the stat sheet as a whole, but they avoided a catastrophic performance as well. South Carolina’s rushing attack was held in check for the most part (with the exception of A.J. Turner filling in for Rico Dowdle and looking solid), and they were good in pass coverage over the middle of the field too. Quart’e Sapp continues to impress in his new starting role, as he totaled seven tackles and two tackles for loss.

  1. Obviously, Butch Jone is on the hot seat, but at what point do they shuffle the offensive play calling. It hasn’t been good. Do they take that responsibility away from Larry Scott, get rid of him, etc? What is your suggestion?
