Offensive Line

Coming into this game, the Vols’ offensive line had allowed just five sacks in five games. That was after playing stout front sevens against Florida and Georgia too. But the Gamecocks were able to sack Guarantano seven times, and the Vols managed to average just a paltry 3.1 rushing yards per carry in this game. There’s no other way to mark this than a failing grade.

  1. Obviously, Butch Jone is on the hot seat, but at what point do they shuffle the offensive play calling. It hasn’t been good. Do they take that responsibility away from Larry Scott, get rid of him, etc? What is your suggestion?
