Jarrett Guarantano got off to a good start, and he looked solid when he was finally let loose on Tennessee’s final drive of the game. But everything in between was ugly. Guarantano’s running ability did little to spark the Vols’ offense, but it wasn’t all on Guarantano. He was sacked seven times in the game. But Guarantano did hold on to the ball too long on multiple occasions as well, and he made his fair share of mistakes. But for all the talk of “putting Guarantano in situations to succeed” this past week by the coaches, they failed to do so for most of the game.

  1. Obviously, Butch Jone is on the hot seat, but at what point do they shuffle the offensive play calling. It hasn’t been good. Do they take that responsibility away from Larry Scott, get rid of him, etc? What is your suggestion?
