Peyton Manning is arguably the greatest player to don the orange and white. And he’s also arguably the greatest player to wear the blue and white of the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL. And the professional team he spent nearly a decade and a half with honored him on Saturday with a statue in his likeness.
The Indianapolis Colts unveiled a statue of Peyton Manning outside of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday to commemorate Manning’s legacy as a Colt. The official Colts Twitter profile put out a short video of the unveiling and Manning’s reaction:

Manning played for 13 seasons with the Colts, setting franchise records in just about every possible passing category in the process. Manning threw for 54,828 yards, 399 touchdowns, and 198 interceptions in 208 career games with the Colts. His 141 wins as a starting quarterback are the most in franchise history, as is his 64.9 career completion percentage as a Colt. He helped the Colts to two Super Bowl appearances, and he helped them win Super Bowl XLI.
In his entire 17-year career, Manning finished with 71,940 passing yards, 539 touchdowns, 251 interceptions, and a 65.3 completion percentage. He won 186 games as a starter and finished with four Super Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl victories. He was a five-time NFL MVP, a two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year, and a 14-time Pro Bowler.
