The Vols’ secondary didn’t really get tested in this game, but when they did they mostly performed well. Justin Martin put together a solid performance overall, as did Rashaan Gaulden. Justin Martin intercepted a pass, but the Vols’ secondary had multiple opportunities to pick off other passes but just couldn’t. Nigel Warrior dropped one, and three Vols had a chance at grabbing one on a pass, but they all juggled it and couldn’t come down with it. The secondary also missed some tackles on running backs. The secondary didn’t have a terrible performance overall, but they weren’t tested too often either.
