5. Jonathan Kongbo, DE
Jonathan Kongbo finally notched his first sack of the season last weekend against UMass. But that was against UMass. This week, a top 10 team comes to town, and Kongbo needs to prove he’s the real deal.
As a redshirt junior, Konbgo needs to prove he has what it takes to justify the amount of defensive snaps he’s been playing to start this season. So far, the production hasn’t quite lived up to what expectations were. Kongbo hasn’t been terrible, but he hasn’t been very consistent either.
If Kongbo wants to silence the critics, this is the game to do it. Georgia likely won’t pass a ton unless they fall behind quickly, so Konbgo needs to prove he has the ability to be a good run stopper too.

One of Jones biggest problems is that he plays mind games with his players with regard to playing time. Call it an inferiority complex, he has to show people whose in charge. Case in point Bituli. A tackling machine but held out because of mental mistakes. Really? Jones, you’ve had two years to coach him up. You can’t be afraid to play 2-3 string players; that’s what has gotten you in trouble (Hurd is a great example).
