UMass didn’t take too many shots downfield in their passing game, but they still managed to hit a few deeper passes while Andrew Ford was still in the game. But Nigel Warrior had a pass break-up in the end zone, and Shaq Wiggins looked solid in his first real action of the season. Emmanuel Moseley also made a few good tackles. All in all it certainly wasn’t a bad day from the secondary, but it was more along the lines of average.
