The offensive line had one of their worst performances ever in the Butch Jones era. The stats may not reflect it as much as other games will (such as the 2014 Ole Miss game), but the line looked downright soft against an over-matched UMass front seven. The line was missing Jashon Robertson, but his absence shouldn’t have made that much of a difference against UMass. The Vols didn’t allow a sack, but they gave up 12 tackles for loss and were lackluster in run blocking.
