Running Backs

The offensive line didn’t do any favors for the Vols’ running backs, but they also didn’t have a great day overall. John Kelly eclipsed 100 yards, but it took him 25 carries to get his 101 yards. There was no reason Kelly should’ve been on the field in the fourth quarter because the Vols should’ve had this game in hand by that point. But they didn’t, and that’s why Ty Chandler was the only other back to get touches in this game. And he managed just 13 yards on five carries and caught one pass for 11 yards. Kelly caught two screen passes, and both lost yards, giving him negative nine receiving yards for the day.

  1. Your math doesn’t add up. FYI, Coaching and OL an F. QB a D. Now maybe the math adds up.
