4. Ty Chandler, RB
Ty Chandler has already impressed in his freshman year so far this season. He’s returned a kickoff for a touchdown and has looked explosive on several touches on offense as well. But he needs more playing time against UMass to further hone his skills.
Through three games, Chandler has totaled 51 rushing yards on 12 carries and 31 receiving yards on two catches along with his kickoff return touchdown. Those numbers aren’t bad at all, but he needs more touches down the stretch, and that should start in this game. Kelly should barely see the field against UMass to keep him preserved for SEC play.
