9. Quay Picou, DT
Along the same lines as Matthew Butler, Quay Picou needs to see more playing time this weekend to truly evaluate what he can do for the Vols moving forward into SEC play.
Picou made three tackles against Georgia Tech in the season opener, but since then he’s been very quiet on Tennessee’s defense. He recorded just one tackle against Indiana State and failed to make any impact against Florida. Picou is a junior and has yet to do much for the Vols in his previous two years. Tennessee needs the former three/four-star recruit to step up this year and provide valuable depth.
