Tennessee’s secondary didn’t have many chances to show what they could do in this one, but when they were tested, they more often than not came up short. Georgia Tech attempted just 10 passes and completed five of them, but those five completions went for 120 yards and almost always resulted in a first down or a huge gain. Justin Martin especially had a rough night, but Emmanuel Moseley was able to come in and contribute in a positive way. Micah Abernathy had a solid performance, as did Rashaan Gaulden, forcing a fumble that would lead to an important touchdown for Tennessee’s offense.
