Defensive Line

Darrell Taylor had himself a strong outing against Georgia Tech. But he was about the only defensive lineman who had a consistently good night for the Vols. Jonathan Kongbo got off to a good start, but he didn’t keep up his strong work as the game progressed. And Tennessee’s defensive tackles were rarely a factor, especially when Tech’s quarterback or B-back would keep it up the middle. The defensive line got little push after the first quarter, but Taylor’s efforts saves the unit from having a worse overall grade.
