John Kelly proved last season he could be productive when asked, and he proved in this game that he has what it takes to be the bell cow in Tennessee’s backfield. Kelly carried the ball 19 times for 128 yards and four scores, scoring the Vols’ last three touchdowns of the game. Kelly was a good bailout for Dormady in the passing game too, pulling in five passes for 35 yards as well. Kelly did little wrong, and his gutsy effort and deceptive speed kept the Vols in the game and proved to be the difference.
