After what looked like could’ve been a costly beginning of the game, Quinten Dormady finally found a rhythm in the second half, appeared to calm down, and fixed some of the mistakes he was making in the first half. Dormady started 4-of-11 for 18 yards at one point in the first half and finished the game 20-of-37 for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers. As off target as some of his throws might have been, he never had a disastrous turnover and finally looked more comfortable in the offense as the game went on, even keeping the ball a couple times for some solid gains on the ground. He’ll have plenty to learn from and correct when he watches the film from this game, but it wasn’t a terrible first career start.
