Tennessee survived another season opener that had to go to overtime to be decided. The Vols defeated Georgia Tech 42-41 after falling behind 28-14 at one point in the fourth quarter. Tennessee managed to find a way to win, however, and it led to a much more jovial post-game atmosphere from the Vols than it could’ve been.
