Final Regular Season Record Prediction
Breakdown: With the way we all predicted the Vols’ 2017 season to go, it doesn’t appear any of us have Tennessee winning the SEC East, which would mark the 10th straight season in which the Vols haven’t come away with the division title. A 9-3 record could certainly be good enough to win the East this year, but it’s as likely if all three of those losses come in conference play. All in all, and 8-4 record this year would feel much different than it did last season, but another year without an East crown would certainly be a disappointment for a lot of fans.
